Ohio School Story: Hilliard City Schools Hosts Parent University

In March 2019, Hilliard City Schools hosted an event called Parent University. We are excited to share this story because it is a great example of a school district reaching out and supporting families. A whole day was dedicated to informing families about social-emotional and academic topics, and answering many questions from families. Many strategic community partners were selected to provide sessions.

“Hilliard City Schools is committed to partnering with families in order to fulfill our mission of preparing our students to be Ready for Tomorrow. We know it can be difficult to learn about all the different academic and extracurricular opportunities available. The goal of our Parent University is to provide an easy way for families to find all of the family and student programs the District offers.”
