Ohio School Story: Family Engagement Team remains focused on student success in Berea Schools

Berea City School District, near Cleveland, is transforming their family engagement work to include all families.

We are highlighting Berea’s work because it focused on effective communication, is linked to student success, and is for all families. One great resource they are developing is a document for parents/caregivers about smooth transitions from one grade to the next, to alleviate anxiety families experience during transitions.

Their work is energized by PTA leader Heather Losneck’s family-focused national fellowship award.
