Ready4K: An educational text-based resource that schools can share with families

Ready4K is an evidence-based family engagement strategy via text messages.

Schools can set up a way for families to sign up to receive 3 texts per week to learn about fun activities they can do together as a family. Each text has ideas to encourage play, motor skill development, language development, and more! Example Text: “TIP: After a bath, dry off by dancing like the wind. Can your child twirl and whirl? Make wind sounds or turn on some music to inspire their movements.”

Ready4K also has a trauma-informed version of their text messaging program. Schools can apply for a grant to implement this program.
